Ep 129 | What Google's biggest update in 20 years means about your email list (and what to do about it) with Cheryl Rerick

Google and Yahoo are making updates to how they deliver emails for the first time in 20 years and you absolutely must make these three very simple changes if you want your emails to be delivered to your email list.

If you think I’m being dramatic, I’m not.

Let’s break this down.

Here’s how it currently works (in super simple terms):
➡️ You grow your list using a CRM platform (ie. Kajabi, ConvertKit, etc.)
➡️ Every time you send your weekly email to your list, your email knocks on Google and Yahoo’s door asking to be let through to the inboxes of your community.
➡️ And Google / Yahoo let you in because they know your CRM.

But starting February 1st, things are changing.

You will now be allowed in (or not allowed in) based on YOUR OWN reputation and online identity.

And Cheryl is going to break this down in WAY more detail on today’s episode.

We’re gonna cover:

1️⃣ Three super simple steps that you must do in order to be let into people’s inboxes

(Think: actual code to put on your website so you essentially have an online ID that Google / Yahoo can recognize.)

2️⃣ Strategies for strengthening your relationship with your list to increase deliverability over time

3️⃣ ALL the details so you know what’s going on, the timeline, and what you can do

And more…

So if you are a business owner, this is an absolute MUST listen to.
